10:14 pm	ATTN: New Journal & Heart concert, round 2 Indeed. As the subject says! tyroantiheroine is my pretentious new journal name. Add me if you want and I'll return the add. Don't, and I won't be offended. I'm just gonna post a few rounds worth of notices to make sure the news gets out. Went to see Heart in Calgary. First time I've seen 'em since the the 2003 Idaho concert that kicked off The Great Elizabethtown Adventure. It was fun. Details in teh new journal. :} (Comment on this)

10:20 am	So Elton John is gonna be playing a concert in Missoula. Totally stoked when I heard about it. Knew I had to go. Tickets went on sale at 10:00 this morning. Woke up at 9:30, sat around waiting for them to open up to sales. At 10:00 exactly I got my tickets. But then it told me you needed to have an account with the site to order. And there was a little timer up in the corner, ticking down how long it would hold my tickets for me before they put them back up for sale. And I have fucking dialup. And I was typing like a madperson trying to navigate the site and make the damn account with 37 seconds to spare. And I lost the damn tickets. And I am not pleased. 2:27 am	TEH FUH. So I just spent roughly three hours downloading a few songs I wanted over my shitty dialup connection. And after three hours what do I get? Some fucking cuntwad who thought it would be smart to upload their own crappy ass music under the name and title of a popular artist to get more downloads. THREE FUCKING HOURS. Thanks, twat. 10:55 pm	AAAAUGH CRISIS!! (Not involving forest fires. Not that exciting. Town is still on high-alert, though.) So I just made a new file in which to stick all of my art-stuffs, and when I went to try to open one of my photoshop files, it came up with a blank canvas.  It's happening with a lot of the files, but not all of them, and I have noooo idea what the pattern is. 4:03 pm	Figures.... It was pretty clear from the get go that the little guy's chances weren't so good. Dad and I both noticed it looked as though he was blind in one eye, and he was lackadaisical and uncoordinated.  Still, he made it through two nights, and surprised us all.  I'd set my alarm to wake me up every two hours so I could feed him and switch out his hot water bottle, and every time I expected to find that we'd lost 'im.  I just figured for some reason that he'd go in the night. I guess my deal from the beginning was that if, as was likely, he was gonna die, I just didn't want him to be alone. He didn't want to be alone either, it would seem, from the way he would always seek out my hands to curl up in when I set him down. For that reason, I'd been keeping him with me pretty much whenever I possibly could during the day, either nestled in the crook of my arm or curled up in a little ball in my hands or lap.  So of course he'd choose to kick the bucket during the 20 minutes I put him in his box so I could dash out to grab a job application. =P Hell, even up until the last minute before I walked out the door I had him with me. Cheeky little bugger. We really did do all that we could, he wasn't in pain and I think he really did get a lot of comfort just from being held, so I'm trying not to beat myself up too much over this.  No possible way I could've known and all that. Still, it's in my nature to get hung up on stupid shit like this. Blaming myself for things that can't be helped is one of my favorite pastimes. So I kind of feel like hell.  Guilty that I couldn't have psychically known to just wait another 15 minutes before heading out. He was just so little and I didn't want him to be alone.. Mehh..... 9:14 pm	Wild Baybeh..... I currently have a sleepy, tiny, one of these curling up to nap in my shirt. Actually, it's a Montana variety, but I couldn't find a good picture of a baby ground squirrel from this area. Poor little chap. Found him in the middle of the road. Not the first time we've come by little prairie dogs that way, either (our previous batch fared pretty well, for the record :}). Watched him a while to see if his mother would come for him, but no dice. It's possible he could've wandered off, but he's so small it seems more likely his mum put him out on purpose. :\ For that reason, I'm trying not to get my hopes up for him, but I am gonna do all I can for him. I'm on mommy duty, so it's up to me to feed him every few hours. He's been taking goat's milk (it's recommended to use that or baby formula for squirrels) from the dropper, but he doesn't seem to like the hard plastic tip very much. Keeps looking for other places to nurse on my shirt and hands (or sucking on his little squirrel toes...... buh! :______: ). In any case..... if you can take the time to send the little dude some good thoughts, I'd be very appreciative. We both would. :} P.S.
