No, uhm, k. So yesterday I forged a pass for the thespian convention because PruandFi were there, and I got dressed up all incognito so my old drama teacher wouldn't recognize and... do whatever they do to people who sneak into thespian conventions, and I was totally jazzed... And then Leslie gave me a legit pass. So yay for that little adventure.

Then I watched "The Trip To Bountiful" with them and... dayum. I didn't come for the play, I came to hang out with my friends but it was amazing. The lead actress absolutely blew my mind. After the performance was over the actors came back out and held a little quiestion session with the thespian kids. People kept asking retarded questions and it made me quite angry. After the cast and the students had been dismissed, though, the lead stayed behind and came to the front of the stage to answer the questions of the kids who came up to talk to her. She was so freaking cool. And after that I was waiting in the theatre lobby and she and a few others came out, and she spoke to me some more. Gave me her e-mail, even. I'm hoping to get together with her sometime in the future when she passes through again, because her performance was quite simply the most astounding thing I've ever seen in live theatre so.. hopefully I can get ahold of her again.

On a related note, the director was being creepy at me.

P.S. Finally saw RENT. Wasn't as good as the live version, obviously, but still worth seeing.
